Finding out about God and knowing that he loves me no matter what and forgave me for all my sins is my testimony. The Lord has saved me from a life of darkness and troubles. He showed me the truth, the light, and the way. He's changed my life in so many ways and gave me a new loving family at Heritage. I give him all the praise and glory. This is the verse GOD gave to me.. Proverbs 3: 5-6 Ever since I was about 9 years old, I had an understanding that I needed to know who God was and what TRUTH was. I spent many years searching for truth, and praying to God for direction. God took my husband and I to a tiny island in Okinawa, Japan to bring us into salvation, and most importantly, TRUTH. Because of hearing so many different beliefs from other men, I was becoming wary if anyone knew the truth. Before I committed to this new plan God was bringing us, I wanted to know straight from God himself if this was the truth I had been seeking. I prayed, while my newborn baby slept in his crib, "God, I'm desperate and so hungry for YOU, and for someone to teach me your word, your truth, and not man's belief's. Show me the way." Our pastor, brother Elmore, of this tiny little military missions church in Okinawa called me before I was even finished in prayer and told me God had put me on his heart to call me just at that moment. To me, that was all I needed. God answered my prayer and gave me direction. I can proudly and gladly say, that today I have a very close walk with my God, His name is Jesus, and there is power, healing, and salvation in that name of Jesus.
